ABOUT THE COTTAGE
The cottage sleeps 4 people comfortably with a KING size bed in the master bedroom complete with a sea view. The second bedroom contains 2 singles. A travel cot can be request for the smallest of our guests.There is a perfectly formed shared family bathroom complete with a bath and overhead shower. A well appointed self catering kitchen opens onto the living/dining room again with a panoramic view of Filey Bay
DOG FRIENDLY
Our cottage is dog friendly, as with a beach like ours it should be shared with our four legged family. Areas of the beach are dog friendly all year round and the whole beach allows dogs between October 1st and 31st April. Many local business’s in town are dog freindly including shops, cafes and pubs.
COTTAGE HISTORY
Cargate Cottage was built around 1880 and has been in our family since 1910 when it was bought by Sarah’s Great Grandfather. It has been holiday accommodation since then and was originally hired out for the whole summer for one family. Cargate Cottage is part of Hope Cottages that currently is made up of 4 cottages.
